Attaching the parachute

The procedure for parachute insertion is described below. This procedure must be followed correctly to ensure safe operation with UAV. Parachute is used as only safe landing option for UAV. To ensure reliable parachute opening and to prevent tangling procedure must be followed step by step.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the parachute is folded properly as described in the Parachute folding chapter.

1. Open the parachute compartment by pressing PARACHUTE POP button and confirm the selection to open parachute compartment.

2. Put the main parachute cord through three parachute attachment cords attached to the fuselage.

3. Put the parachute through the attachment loop and tighten the junction knot.

4. Place the inner UAV attachment cord on the bottom of the parachute.

5. Place the parachute inside the parachute compartment.

Attaching the parachute - Roll the rest of the main parachute cord.

6. Roll the main parachute cord around 3-4 fingers and place that bundle together with the junction knot into the parachute compartment.

7. Make the two frontal UAV cords lying straight on the airframe surface and align them with the parachute hatch grooves and then  close the parachute hatch and lock it in place using C3P (“Parachute Reset” button).
